TIU Signs MoU with George Mason University in the U.S
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Director of International Relations Office, and Mr. Mohammed Ghafoor Khoshnaw, Member of Board of Trustees, visited George Mason University on October 1, 2019, one of the top universities in the United States.
Dr. Öztaş and Mr. Mohammed had a fruitful meeting with the president Scholar in Global Engineering Dr. Hans Hoyer, and they also held a series of meetings with the dean of Engineering School, Dr. Kenneth Ball, Professors, department chair of civil, environmental, and infrastructure Engineering Dr. Sam Salem, and Dr. Ahmet joined the Director of International Enrollment Partnerships Dr. Matt Sacco.
Tishk International University (TIU) signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with George Mason University which opens the path for the students who wish to study Bachelor’s program in one of the best universities in the United States.
During the meeting Prof. Dr. Öztaş presented a brief introduction about Tishk International University. Both parties directed their relations offices to initiate exchange programs and explore ways of further mutual cooperations with the hope of promoting academic, cultural, and scientific correlation.
